Educational Objectives

The course aims to provide students with a deep understanding of ERP systems, their purpose, and their impact on organizational efficiency. Students will learn to navigate in different ERP systems, comprehend financial management processes such as cash management, fixed assets, receivables, payables, and cost accounting, and understand how sales, marketing, and purchasing workflows are executed within an ERP environment. By combining theory with hands-on experience, the course equips learners with the skills to analyze business processes, interpret system data, and apply ERP tools effectively in real-world scenarios.

Course Content and Organization

Students begin by exploring the fundamentals of ERP systems, including their definition, characteristics, and business value. They then dive into different ERP tools (Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.), learning to navigate the application and understand its core functionalities. The course covers financial management in depth, from chart of accounts and cash management to cost accounting and asset management. Sales and marketing processes are studied next, highlighting transaction flows and marketing workflows, followed by purchasing processes and transaction management. The course is delivered through a mix of lectures, practical software exercises, and case studies, ensuring that students not only learn the theory but also apply their knowledge in realistic business scenarios.
