Course Description

The Project Management course provides students with a structured and practical foundation in modern project management. The course introduces the fundamental concepts, principles, and standards of project management and equips students with the knowledge and tools required to successfully manage projects across all key phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closure.

Students explore essential project management approaches and frameworks, including predictive (Waterfall) methodologies, Agile approaches, as well as hybrid models, with a strong focus on aligning methodology choices to project complexity, business objectives, and organizational context. The course also familiarizes students with the PMBOK® Standard for Project Management, supporting the development of a professional, internationally aligned understanding of project work.

The learning experience is highly interactive, combining theoretical concepts with practical applications, case studies, and real-life examples. By the end of the course, students will be able to apply project management tools and techniques in a structured manner and contribute effectively to projects in both business and digital transformation environments.
