Cristina Rădulescu, PhD, is a senior lecturer at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, with expertise in management information systems. Her IT expertise concerns development of desktop and web applications, database implementation and management, business reporting and business data analytics. She has 20 years of experience in business software development, being involved in system analysis, modeling, implementation, and testing. Complementary to application development she carries out multiple activities required by complex IT projects, in areas such as business process modeling, business process reengineering, and change management.
Cristina Rădulescu has been teaching at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies since 2003; she has also taken part in research activities resulting in articles and research projects. The research and teaching activities are focused on information systems supporting business processes within organizations and on data analytics and decision support solutions, approached from both IT and business perspectives. Over the years, teaching activities have included lectures and practical seminars for various courses on business information systems aimed at students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs: programming languages, databases, management information systems, IT process management, decision support systems, business intelligence.
