Mihai Florin is a professor and PhD at the Department of Management Information Systems within the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He has extensive experience in the design and implementation of information systems used in organizational processes.

He has coordinated the development of IT systems for the university management of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and has contributed to the creation of several information platforms in the educational and financial-accounting fields. His research activity focuses on ERP systems, business process automation, integrated information platforms, and process digitalization, with an emphasis on efficiency and digital governance.

Within the Business Automation course, he contributes to developing competencies related to understanding information system architectures, integrating automated workflows, and the role of automation in optimizing business processes.
