Valentin Lazăr is an associate lecturer at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, where, since 2023, he has been teaching subjects related to business process automation and digital transformation.

He has been Head of the Research and Innovation Management Directorate at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies since 2017 and holds a PhD in Economics. His doctoral research addressed Ethics and Responsibility in the Production and Marketing of Agri-Food Products, reflecting a broader interest in the relationship between innovation, responsibility, and organizational practice.

His areas of interest include business process automation, AI agents, ERP systems—especially Odoo—project management, web design, communication, food ethics, and public procurement. With 15 years of management experience in media organizations, he brings to the programme a multidisciplinary perspective shaped by academic work, institutional leadership, and practical experience in innovation and digital transformation.
